Arrival by car
There are two ways to get to Orebić by car. If you want to get acquainted with the beautiful Pelješac, choose a trip through Ston at the beginning of the peninsula. From Ston to Orebić, there is a 58-kilometre state road that passes through picturesque places and wild Dalmatian nature. The trip takes about an hour. You are sure to enjoy the scenery!
The second option is to get by car to Ploče, and then by ferry to Trpanj on the northern side of Pelješac, and continue by the state road for twenty kilometres to Orebić. This option will be chosen by all those who go to the south in the summer months and wish to avoid the crowds at the state border with Bosnia and Herzegovina and driving through its territory along the Neum corridor. Before re-entering Croatia, you will drive for 9.2 kilometres.
Coming soon: The fastest route by car passes through the newly built Pelješac Bridge, which connects Komarna on the mainland and Brijesta on Pelješac. Its opening is expected in 2022. The drive from Brijesta to Orebić is about forty kilometres long, and you are going to need about the same number of minutes.
